He highlighted the company’s Zambian ownership and its recent expansion into Western Province in 2020. Mr. Malekano outlined Termites Meat Supplies’ initiatives to address challenges faced by livestock farmers, including the establishment of bulking centers in seven districts and the provision of free transportation for farmers to abattoirs.

Furthermore, Mr. Malekano announced the company’s ongoing construction of a feedlot in Limulunga, which will accommodate 1,000 animals at a time, thereby enhancing the value chain and increasing support to local farmers.

“All these efforts have been made possible through the unwavering support of His Majesty and the Barotse Royal Establishment,” Mr. Malekano expressed.

Following the royal banquet, Paramount Chief Chiti Mukulu of the Bemba speaking people received assorted gifts, symbolizing the spirit of unity and goodwill fostered by cultural exchanges and collaborative endeavors.
