The search for 85-year-old farmer James Mutale, who went missing from his Chibaye village farm on April 8, 2024, has ended in sorrow after his body was discovered in the nearby bush on April 24.
Living alone on his property, Mutale was reported missing to the police on April 16, sparking a search effort.
His remains were found in a decomposed state by a passerby, prompting concerns about the circumstances surrounding his death.
Police have launched an investigation into the events leading up to Mutale’s disappearance and death.
