Red Arrows have been drawn alongside Kenya’s Gor Mahia and Sudanese Al Hilal SC in Group B of the 2024 Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations
(CECAFA) Kagame Cup to be held in Tanzania starting next week.
The Airmen earned the invitation to the tournament after a successful season in which they won both the MTN Super League and the ABSA Cup titles to complete a double.
Djibouti side AS Ali Sabieh completes Group B.
Arrows are expected to be based in the Tanzanian capital Dar es Salaam’s municipalities of Chamazi and Kinondoni.
The tournament will be played at two venues – the Azam Sports Complex and the KMC Stadium.
The Zambian champions will use the CECAFA Kagame Cup tournament to prepare for their upcoming 2024/25 CAF Champions League and Super League campaigns.
