Kitwe giants Power Dynamos have completed the signing of national team midfielder Prince Mumba from Kabwe Warriors, Zambia Digest can exclusively reveal.
The seven-time Super League winners have signed the 23-year old former Zambia Under-20 captain on a two-year contract and will unveil the player in the coming days.
“Yes, it is a done deal, he came into Kitwe and had everything signed so they will unveil anytime, he is happy to join Power” a source close to the player revealed.
Mumba is set to come into club head coach Oswald Mutapa’s set-up as a direct replacement for Joshua “Budo” Mutale who left to join Simba Sports Club in Tanzania last month.
The diminutive attacker leaves Kabwe Warriors after six years, in which he also served captain at the club, following the expiry of his contract.
Power are expected to be one of the most active clubs in the player recruitment period as they look to replace 12 first-team players whom they parted ways with last month.
