Former Zambia national team star and 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winner Chisamba Lungu has landed a coaching role at the Russian football academy FDC Vista Gelendzhik.
The 33-year-old joined Vista in June, initially doubling as a coach and player, before being appointed its technical (technique) coach.
Vista confirmed on Tuesday that Lungu had been given a permanent coaching role at the club as he retires from professional football.
Lungu returned to Russia where he had played much of his professional football from 2010 to 2017 and impressed in the top-flight for FK Ural Yekaterinburg, now relegated to the first division.
He also featured for other European clubs including FC Dinamo Zugdidi of Georgia and Alanyaspor of Turkey.
Before returning to Russia, Lungu was with Atletico Lusaka where he also served as player/coach and helped the club to its maiden promotion into the MTN Super League last season.
