Copperbelt Province Minister Elisha Matambo says President Hakainde Hichilema has overperformed in his three years in government.
Matambo says Mr. Hakainde Hichilema has done extremely well in almost all the sectors of Zambia’s economy.
The Copperbelt Province Minister was speaking this afternoon at his office when he addressed the press on various matters of national importance, including the performance of the United Party For National Development ( UPND) in the past three years of being in government.
Matambo, who is also UPND Province Copperbelt Chairman, pointed out that people were now enjoying their freedoms of association, movement, and other liberties regardless of the political party their belong to.
He added that those who destroyed the country would not be allowed to bounce back.
“It is very surprising that those who destroyed the country are now the ones standing on the top of the mountain in critising the current government when it is they who destroyed the country and President Hakainde Hichilema is fixing the mess,” Matambo said .
Matambo highlighted that the Copperbelt Province was now back to its economic life as many mines in the province had been unlocked.
He called upon the people of the Copperbelt Province to continue supporting and believing in the leadership of the new dawn government for a better Zambia.
