Newly signed Zesco United striker Amine Hiver has set a target of being the club’s top scorer ahead of the new season.
The Chadian international has been signed from Cameroonian top-tier league side Aigle Royal De La Menoua on a 2-year deal, as announced by Zesco.
“I feel at home at Zesco United. My goal is to become the club’s top scorer. I will do my best to help the team win trophies and advance in the CAF Confederation Cup Competition,” he said after signing for the Ndola-based outfit.
Hiver has an impressive record, having been the top scorer for his former club last season with nine goals and 14 assists.
He has also been a regular for the Chad national team since 2019, featuring in several international tournaments, including AFCON 2023 and World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
“Hiver’s addition to our club aligns with our goals to have a strong squad for the 2024/25 MTN Super League and TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup campaigns. His skill, experience, and determination will be invaluable to our team,” a post from Zesco United read in part.
