Maestro United Zambia Football Club (F.C MUZA) has announced the signing of Equatorial Guinea defender Javier Mum Boho.
Javier, 23, has joined the Elegant Dynamites from Equatorial Guinea’s Cano Sport Academy.
At the unveiling event on Sunday afternoon, F.C MUZA president Keith Mweemba was confident that the addition of Javier will bolster the team and contribute to achieving their objectives.
“We are delighted to welcome Mum Boho Javier to F.C MUZA. He is a versatile player and we are confident in his abilities. To our loyal supporters who have been a great pillar of support, expect an exciting season ahead as we aim to surpass our performances in the previous two seasons,” Mweemba stated.
Javier expressed his gratitude to the club’s management for providing him with an opportunity to showcase his skills.
He pledged his commitment to assisting the club in reaching its seasonal goals.
Club Chief Executive Officer Joel Kabika commended the signing of Javier, noting that it will enhance the team’s strength.
He also thanked Mweemba for the consistent sponsorship of the club.
Meanwhile, the club has promoted three players from its youth team, Young MUZA, who campaign in the FAZ Division One Southern Province league.
The promoted players are goalkeeper David Minganja, defender Given Kambikambi and striker Godfrey Chinga.
Additionally, midfielder Christopher Nakalinda has been recalled from Police College by the club.
