The Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) will soon begin recruiting for over 700 positions across councils.
LGSC Chairperson Ackson Sejani announced at a Lusaka briefing that these roles will primarily be in technical fields such as engineering, surveying, and architecture. The job vacancies will be advertised in the coming days. Sejani emphasized that local authorities, crucial in delivering community services, require a well-structured workforce to meet their responsibilities.
The recruitment aims to fill technical roles including civil and electrical engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, system analysis, and legal positions.
