Chipolopolo stars Joseph Sabobo Banda and Obino Chisala have joined the team in Abidjan in preparation for Friday’s Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Côte d’Ivoire.
Sabobo, who plays for FC Zurich, and Chisala who is with Costa do Sol in Mozambique, are the latest members, bringing the total to of foreign based players and local ones to 22.
The team will travel to Bouaké tomorrow to prepare for their match against the Elephants at the Stade de la Paix.
Coach Avram Grant’s squad has been training at the Institute for Sports in Abidjan and will take a short flight to Bouaké on the day before the game.
Other professionals in the team include Lameck Banda, Clatous Chama, Kennedy Musonda, captain Lubambo Musonda, Benson Sakala, Miguel Chaiwa, Edward Chilufya, Songa Chipyoka, Kings Kangwa, Gift Mphande, and Stoppilla Sunzu.
