The Chipolopolo resumed training at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium this morning following their return from Bouake. Coach Avram Grant and his staff welcomed back Kelvin Kampamba, who missed the Cote d’Ivoire match due to a family bereavement, and Ricky Banda, who re-joins the squad to strengthen the attacking options.
Both Kampamba and Banda, included in the 27-man provisional squad for the upcoming matches, were on standby for the fixtures. Additionally, Zesco United defender Benedict Chepeshi has joined the camp and participated in the morning session.
The team is focused on overcoming their Match Day One loss to Cote d’Ivoire. The game is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
