After attending the Malaila Traditional Ceremony, President Hakainde Hichilema announced the commissioning of the newly constructed Mambwe District Hospital in Malambo Constituency, Eastern Province.
He described the facility as state-of-the-art and emphasized its importance for the people of Mambwe District, who have long faced challenges in accessing quality health services. The President reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare across the nation and highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare delivery.
He expressed gratitude to cooperating partners for their contributions and stated that the government would continue to strengthen these facilities by recruiting additional health personnel.
President Hichilema called for unity in building the nation, encouraging everyone to work together for progress.
