• K12.0 billion is for constructing, upgrading, and rehabilitating roads
• Agriculture—
o K9.3 billion for the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP)
o K2.4 billion for strategic food reserves to ensure food security
• Zambia Credit Guarantee Scheme increased to K851.7 million (from K386.0 million in 2024). This will also support the implementation of the Sustainable Agriculture Financing Facility program
• Allocation to the aerial survey for minerals under the Aerial Geological and Geophysical Mapping increased to K364 million from K160.0 million in 2024
• CDF resource envelope increased to K5.6 billion in 2025 from K4.8 billion in 2024. This will increase the allocation to each constituency to K36.1 million from K30.6 million in 2024. Out of the K5.5 million per constituency increase, K3.3 million is earmarked for feeder roads
• K700.7 million to be spent on constructing, upgrading, and rehabilitating provincial aerodromes to improve airport infrastructure
• K1.3 billion to tourism infrastructure, wildlife conservation, and tourism marketing
• Education: K31.5 billion or 14.5% of the budget—
o K2.3 billion for early childhood education,
o K2.6 billion for primary and secondary including the construction of 120 secondary schools and the completion of the stalled hostel projects at the Copperbelt University, the University of Zambia, and other public universities,
o K80.3 million allocated to the recruitment of 2,000 teachers,
o K534.4 million allocated to school feeding, and
o K150 million to implement the new national education curriculum
