Christian Democratic Party (CDP) leader Danny Pule is facing potential arrest for criminal trespass over allegations of fraudulently acquiring four hectares of land in Mwachindalo village, Chibombo, in 2003.
Pule was interrogated for about an hour yesterday at Ngwerere Police Post, where a statement was recorded.
Documents and police sources indicate that the land originally belonged to Gabriel Mumba in 1999 before being sold to Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), of which Pule is chairman and CEO. The area in question was initially two hectares under Mumba but allegedly expanded to four hectares after the transfer to TBN.
