Television personality Mwansa Daisy Lusumpa, popularly known as Chichi Daisy, has sued social media personality Mutale Mwanza for K2 million and demanded an apology and a retraction of the defamatory statements the latter made about her.
In a vulgar and unhinged Facebook rant on November 7, Mwanza went on a rampage hurling sexual insults at Daisy. She deleted some posts the next day but substituted those with others.
A divisive figure, Mwanza ripped apart and made wild claims against other Diamond Television personalities and the station itself, claiming among other things that the Personality of the Year Awards—which ignited her rant—were not credible, much to the delight of her horde of fans.
Daisy is being represented by the law firm Muleza Mwiimbu and Company.
