Kabwe Warriors and Red Arrows have battled to a 1-1 stalemate to give Zesco United a chance to reclaim top spot on Sunday following MTN Super League Week 21 matches played today.
Warriors opened the floodgates in the 59th minute through Francis Banda but his goal was cancelled out 10 minutes later by Angel Lubamba.
After today’s draw, Warriors remain top of the table with 37 points but could be overtaken by Zesco United who are second with 36 points ahead of their Week 21 match tomorrow.
Arrows have also maintained 3rd place but now on 35 points as they continue aiming to defend their league crown.
In Kitwe, Nkana suffered their first defeat at home under Mwenya Chipepo as they succumbed to a painful 1-0 loss to Napsa Stars this afternoon.
A late goal by midfielder Simon Nkhata in the 84th minute gave Napsa a famous victory over the hosts in Kitwe today.
