Admin, please allow me to ask a genuine question for discussion.
Let’s say you own a company and your products are doing very well on the market. Now imagine a complete stranger, someone you have never met, starts advertising your products for free.
Almost everything the company does, this person promotes it online without being asked.
Your team notices this and informs you “Boss, there’s someone who has been promoting our products for free. Maybe we should invite him and see how he can officially help with marketing.” The person is invited, but because the boss is always busy and on the move, the team speaks to him on the boss’s behalf. They have a conversation and assure him they will get back to him after consulting the boss.
Before they manage to do that, the person becomes impatient and upset. He then goes on social media and starts attacking the company, calling the people who invited him fake, saying the products are fake, and making a lot of unnecessary accusations. All this happens even though the company fully intended to get back to him when the right time came.
So here’s the real question:
Who is actually at fault in this situation? Is it the company?
The management team? The boss?
Or the person who was advertising for free?
