Operations at the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) offices have resumed weeks after being closed for investigations following the murder of its Executive Director Guntila Muleya.
Law enforcement agencies investigating Muleya’s gruesome slaying cordoned off the offices and shifted staff to operate from other buildings in the same complex.
IBA Board Chairperson Chikosola Chuula announced the resumption today and acknowledged the staff’s cooperation with various investigative bodies. He urged them to continue being cooperative as the investigations persist.
He was grateful to all stakeholders for their understanding during the period the IBA operations were temporarily halted.
