President Hakainde Hichilema Warns Against Sugar Daddy Relationships for Female Students

Must read

During his address to students at Kapasa Makasa University in Chinsali district, President Hichilema emphasised the detrimental effects of relationships with sugar daddies on the futures of young women. He urged students to prioritise their education over social activities.

“I urge you not to entertain sugar daddies from outside because they can ruin your future. We have witnessed young women who associated with older men outside campus, and they suffered,” warned Hichilema.

Expressing concern for their well-being, he encouraged students to remain on campus and advised them to seek happiness within their academic pursuits. He stressed the importance of focusing on education, stating, “There’s a time for everything.”

Additionally, President Hichilema advised students to strive for academic excellence to empower themselves to become self-employed and create job opportunities for others. Drawing from his own experiences, he emphasized the value of using qualifications to establish independent businesses rather than relying on employment.

“You have the potential to be your own bosses. Utilize your university education to work for yourselves,” he encouraged students, urging them to be determined and focused in their endeavours.
