Record 13-time Zambian champions Nkana will aim to continue their revival as they face troubled Indeni in a Week 11 MTN Super League encounter at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola this afternoon.
The Kitwe giants have been revitalized under new coach Mwenya Chipepo who has so far managed to deliver two 3-1 victories over Mufulira Wanderers and reigning champions Red Arrows to see the club out of the relegation zone from 16th to 10th position on the Super League log standings.
Chipepo will now look to inspire his lads past his former side and relegation-threatened Indeni to strengthen the club’s challenge for the ABSA Cup qualification this first round of the season.
Meanwhile, Nkana’s opponents Indeni remain winless this season and will continue their search for victory today.
Tenant Chembo’s side sit at the base of the table with just two out of a possible 30 points this term.
In other exciting Week 11 Super League fixtures to be played this afternoon, reigning champions Red Arrows will look to shake off the disappointment from last week’s 3-1 loss away to Nkana as they host Green Eagles at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka this afternoon.
In Mufulira, legendary clubs Mufulira Wanderers and Nchanga Rangers will also renew their rivalry at Shinde Stadium where both sides will be out to salvage their fortunes after mixed starts to the season so far.
